Loaf Cake 

You can make two different cakes using just one recipe!

When you crave something sweet but don’t want to go through the hassle of preparing a complicated recipe…

 A quick and delicious loaf cake can be made in just 10 minutes, filling the whole house with the aroma of vanilla, apples, and chocolate. 

Ingredients:

  • 160 ml of oil
  • 160 ml cream
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 tablespoons of lemon juice
  •  lemon/ orange zest
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 350 grams of flour
  • 1.5 teaspoon baking powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • 150 grams of sugar

Chocolate filling:

  • 3 tablespoons of cocoa, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, 50 grams of sugar, 1/4 cup of boiling water, 4 tablespoons of cream – mix all the filling ingredients well.

The fruit filling: 

Cut fruit into small cubes and mix with cinnamon.

Crumbs:

  • 140 grams of flour
  • 70 g butter at room temperature
  • 50 grams of sugar
  • Pinch of salt
  • A handful of sliced almonds

Instructions:

  1. Mix all the wet ingredients
  2. Add the dry ingredients.
  3. Divide into 2 bowls – a bowl for the chocolate cake and a bowl for the fruit cake.
  4. Pour the chocolate filling into a bowl and stir lightly for the chocolate cake. 4-5 stirrings are needed to have chocolate stripes.
  5. Pour into a mould and sprinkle half of the crumbs on top.
  6.   When ready – melt 100 g of chocolate and a little milk in the microwave and pour over.
  7. For the fruit cake, lightly mix the fruit into the cake mixture.
  8. Pour into a mould and sprinkle half of the crumbs on top.
  9. Sprinkle some powdered sugar on top when ready.
