Perfect for breakfast (-:
Ingredients:
- 10 grams of yeast
- 40 grams of sugar
- 400 ml of warm milk
- 200 ml warm water
- 2 egg whites
- 180 ml of oil
- 10 grams of salt
- 950 grams of flour.
- 70 gr of soft butter
- Frozen spinach – thawed
- 400 g crumbled feta
- Sesame for garnish
Instructions:
- Mix milk and water with yeast and sugar – wait a few minutes until the yeast dissolves.
- Add egg white and oil and mix.
- Add sifted flour and salt at the end, and knead well.
- Place covered in a warm place to rise until doubled in volume.
- Make a roll and divide it into about 10 balls of dough.
- Roll each ball thin and spread with a thin layer of butter.
- Sprinkle spinach and feta crumbs.
- Roll into a cylinder, twist like a screw and twist into a snail shape.
- Brush with egg and sprinkle with sesame.
- Leave to rise for a second time.
- Bake for about 20 minutes at 180 Celsius / 400 Fahrenheit.
