Ingredients:
For the dough:
- 200 grams of butter
- 350 grams (2 and a half cups) of flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 60 grams (1/2 cup) powdered sugar
- 200 grams of sour cream
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
- For the filling – anything you like:
- 1. Nutella \ date spread \ jam \ dolce de lacha
- 2. 2 egg whites + half a cup of sugar are whipped together
- 3. Coconut \ cinnamon \ nuts
For decoration:
- powdered sugar
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, mix butter, sugar and egg whites.
- Add sour cream, vanilla extract, salt and powdered sugar to the batter.
- Finally, flour and baking powder are used until you get a soft and pleasant dough.
- Cool the dough in the refrigerator for about 1/2 hour.
- Divide the dough into 3 parts and roll each part into a rectangle about 3 mm thick.
- Spread about 1/3 of the filling on each rectangle in an even and thin layer.
- Spread 1/3 of the whipped cream on each rectangle.
- Sprinkle some coconut/cinnamon or nuts in an even layer.
- Roll up and place in intervals on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
- Heat the oven to 170 degrees.
- Bake for about 30-35 minutes or until they are golden.
- Cool completely and slice into cookies.
- Decorate with powdered sugar and serve.
