Date Bark 

Date Bark – a simple and healthy treat that tastes like a healthier version of a Snickers bar. This Date Crunch Bark is a vegan and gluten-free recipe that combines chewy and crunchy textures to create the ultimate chocolate bark.

It’s made with Medjool dates and can be topped with any toppings.

Easy to make and perfect when craving something sweet but wanting to stay healthy. 

Ingredients:

  • Medjool dates
  • Walnuts / Halva/sesame seeds/ pistachios/  pumpkin seeds
  • Salted  peanut butter/almond butter / Tahini
  • Melted chocolate 

Instructions:

  • 1) Remove the pits from the dates and open them up. 
  • 2 ) Place the flesh side up on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • 3) Top with peanut butter
  • 4) Sprinkle halva, sesame seeds or your favourite nuts ( you can combine all of it if you feel like taking it to the next stage )
  • 5) Spread on melted chocolate.
  • 6) set in the freezer for 20 minutes.
  • 7) Cut into squares and enjoy
