Ingredients for one large roulade:
The chocolate layer:
- 250 grams of biscuits
- 1/2 cup of sugar
- About 1/2 cup of milk
- 2 tablespoons of cocoa
- A pinch of salt
- 1 tablespoon Nutella
- For the coconut filling:
- 100 grams of butter melted in the microwave
- 150 grams of coconut
- 100 grams of powdered sugar
- A little red food colouring
Instructions:
- 1. Grind the biscuits in a food processor
- 2. Dissolve sugar, cocoa, Nutella and milk in a small saucepan (can also be added without cooking)
- 3. Transfer the ground biscuits and salt to a bowl and mix with the chocolate mixture. If it is too dry, add a little more milk.
- 4. Roll out the layer of biscuits between 2 baking sheets as thin as possible.
- 5. Grind all the coconut ingredients in a food processor (except the food colouring)
- 6. Divide in half. Add food colouring to one of the halves and mix.
- 7. Sprinkle the white coconut on the chocolate layer
- 8. Sprinkle the horned coconut.
- 9. Clamps
- 10. Roll together into a roll as tightly as possible.
- 11. Wrap in baking paper and transfer to the freezer.
- After an hour in the freezer, slice into thin slices and enjoy.
