Enjoy your meal while it’s still hot, and pair it with a refreshing salad for a light and satisfying dinner or brunch.
Ingredients:
- 400g ground beef
- 1 large onion
- 3-4 garlic cloves
- 2 chopped tomatoes
- 2 tsp tomato paste
- Chopped parsley
- Chopped dill
- 1.5 tsp salt
- 2 tsp chilli pepper
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1/2 cup of oil – for the premade dough sheets.
- 6 premade dough sheets ( for two big Lahmaguns )
- I bought mine in a Turkish grocery store nearby.
Instructions:
- Grind the onion, garlic and tomatoes.
- Mix all the ingredients (except the oil ) with the minced meat in a large bowl, and our lahmacun mixture is ready.
- Grease a sheet of premade dough with oil, add another sheet, grease it in the same way (there will be three sheets in total )
- Spread your lahmagun mixture thinly on it.
- Close it from all sides.
- Bake it in the preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 15 minutes.
- Ensure the mixture releases water while cooking and the dough becomes golden and crispy.
- Serve with a freshly cut salad, and enjoy your lovely meal.
