Enjoy your meal while it’s still hot, and pair it with a refreshing salad for a light and satisfying dinner or brunch.

Ingredients:

  • 400g ground beef
  • 1 large onion
  • 3-4 garlic cloves
  • 2 chopped tomatoes
  • 2 tsp tomato paste
  • Chopped parsley
  • Chopped dill
  • 1.5 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp chilli pepper
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 cup of oil – for the premade dough sheets.
  • 6 premade dough sheets ( for two big Lahmaguns )
  • I bought mine in a Turkish grocery store nearby.

Instructions:

  1. Grind the onion, garlic and tomatoes.
  2. Mix all the ingredients (except the oil ) with the minced meat in a large bowl, and our lahmacun mixture is ready.
  3. Grease a sheet of premade dough with oil, add another sheet, grease it in the same way (there will be three sheets in total )
  4. Spread your lahmagun mixture thinly on it.
  5. Close it from all sides.
  6. Bake it in the preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 15 minutes.
  7. Ensure the mixture releases water while cooking and the dough becomes golden and crispy.
  8. Serve with a freshly cut salad, and enjoy your lovely meal.
