This super easy and delicious pastry is fried for 2 minutes, and you have this gorgeous sweet-salty and crunchy Feta pastry. You could add any other cheeses or fillings.
Ingredients:
- Premade phyllo dough
- Feta cheese
- Mozzarella cheese
- Fresh oregano leaves
- Honey
- Sesame seeds
- Melted butter
- Olive oil for frying
Instructions:
- Place one piece of pastry and brush with melted butter.
- Place another pastry sheet on top of the first, and brush it with butter.
- Sprinkle 30g of crumbled Feta and some mozzarella crumbs over the centre of the phyllo and 4-5 fresh Oregano leaves.
- Fold the phyllo sides into the centre and over the filling to enclose the pastry.
- Brush with butter.
- Heat a drizzle of oil in a frying pan.
- Fry on each side for 1-2 minutes until golden.
- Drizzle with honey and a sprinkle of sesame seeds.
Serve immediately.
