Phyllo Feta Cheese Pastry

Phyllo Feta Cheese Pastry

This super easy and delicious pastry is fried for 2 minutes, and you have this gorgeous sweet-salty and crunchy Feta pastry. You could add any other cheeses or fillings.

Ingredients:

  • Premade phyllo dough
  • Feta cheese
  • Mozzarella cheese
  • Fresh oregano leaves
  • Honey
  • Sesame seeds
  • Melted butter
  • Olive oil for frying

Instructions:

  1. Place one piece of pastry and brush with melted butter.
  2. Place another pastry sheet on top of the first, and brush it with butter.
  3. Sprinkle 30g of crumbled Feta and some mozzarella crumbs over the centre of the phyllo and 4-5 fresh Oregano leaves.
  4. Fold the phyllo sides into the centre and over the filling to enclose the pastry.
  5. Brush with butter.
  6. Heat a drizzle of oil in a frying pan.
  7. Fry on each side for 1-2 minutes until golden.
  8. Drizzle with honey and a sprinkle of sesame seeds.
    Serve immediately.
