Wholemeal Seed Bread 

Amazing crispy and fluffy bread that is easy to make and wonderful to eat.

Ingredients:

  • 385 gr of wholemeal flour 
  • 340 ml of water at room temperature
  • 5 gr of dry yeast
  • 9 gr of sugar
  • 9 gr of salt
  • 1 cup of seed mixture (sesame, flax, poppy, fennel, sunflower seeds or anything else)
  • Quaker + olive oil

Instructions:

  1. Fill a large bowl with water.
  2. Mix in the yeast.
  3. Add the flour (it is advisable to filter to ensure no lumps in the flour) to the bowl.
  4. Put everything together into a sticky dough, cover with plastic wrap and wait 30 minutes.
  5. Add salt, sugar and seeds.
  6. Mix well.
  7. Cover with plastic wrap and wait about two hours or until it rises nicely.
    Shape the dough into a loaf that fits the rectangular pan.
    Wait an additional hour.
  8. Hey there! Just brush gently with olive oil and sprinkle with a few Quaker flakes. 
  9. Bake at 180 degrees Celsius / 356 degrees Fahrenheit for about half an hour or until golden.
  10. Easy peasy!
