Honey-Maple Roasted Nuts with Chili and Herbs

Spread on a fresh salad, enjoyed with a beer, or snacked on as is, you won’t be able to stop eating them!

Ingredients:

  • 140g pecans
  • 140g walnuts
  • 20g sesame seeds
  • 1/4 cup honey/maple syrup
  • 1 tsp chili flakes
  • 1/2 tsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp chili oil
  • 3 sprigs of any chopped fresh herbs
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 175C
  2. Mix the nuts with all other ingredients in a bowl
  3. Spread mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper
  4. Roast in the oven for 10-15 minutes. Stir a few times during the roasting process
  5. Remove from the oven and let cool before serving

If you can’t eat them all in one sitting, store them in a container like a glass jar!
