Chimichurri

Your next BBQ’s secret weapon! Fresh, zesty, and packed with flavour, it’s the perfect punch of flavour for steaks, grilled chicken, and roasted veggies!

Ingredients:

  • 1 bunch parsley
  • 1 bunch cilantro
  • 1 sweet red pepper
  • 1 or 2 hot chilis
  • 6 garlic cloves
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon

Instructions:

  1. Chop the parsley, cilantro, peppers, and garlic finely
  2. Combine them in a jar with olive oil, vinegars, salt, and lemon juice
  3. Seal the jar and refrigerate for at least 4 hours (longer the better, overnight is the best)
  4. Too spicy? Not spicy enough? You can adjust the amount of chili for your tastes

Drizzle it on everything – steak, grilled fish, eggs, sandwiches, even pizza if you like!
