A perfect spread to accompany any bread that you can eat
Ingredients:
- 5-6 soft big Medjool dates
- 200g softened butter at room temperature
- 1 cup pecans (you can also use walnuts instead if you wish)
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- Pinch of coarse salt

Instructions:
- Roughly chop the dates. If they are dry, you can soften them by soaking them for 1-2 minutes in boiled hot water
- Roughly chop your pecans, then toast them and cool before next step
- Mix all ingredients together in a bowl
- Store in the fridge, but for the best texture, serve at room temperature when soft
The perfect accompaniment to any bread, including my sourdough!
