Garlic Herb Bread with Mozzarella

Warm, buttery, and filled with garlic herb goodness and melty mozzarella, this pull-apart bread just can’t get better than this

Ingredients:

Dough:

  • 500g flour
  • 1 tbsp dry yeast
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 30g melted butter
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup slightly warm milk
  • 1/2 cup room temperature water

Garlic-Herb Butter:

  • 70g softened butter
  • 3-4 crushed garlic cloves
  • Handful of chopped herbs

Topping:

  • 100g shredded mozzarella

Instructions:

  1. In a mixer, combine all dough ingredients except water
  2. Slowly add water until the dough is elastic (you might not need all of it). Knead for 10-12 minutes
  3. Transfer to a lightly oiled bowl, cover, and let rise at room temperature for 1.5 hours (or overnight in the fridge)
  4. Preheat oven to 375F
  5. Place the dough on a parchment-lined tray and score crosswise lines
  6. Mix garlic butter and herbs, spread over dough, then press shredded mozzarella into the cuts
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden

Serve warm, and consider storing in a bread box for next time!
