Fun Chocolate Truffle Balls

Quick chocolate truffle balls to make with your kids, because life should be delicious, fun, and always served with extra sprinkles!

Ingredients:

  • 400g biscuits (or any leftover mix of biscuits and crumbled cake)
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 150g butter
  • 200g chocolate
  • Chocolate sprinkles
  • White chocolate chips for eyes
  • Optional: 2 tbsp brandy/liqueur of choice

Instructions:

  1. Crush the biscuits into crumbs (can use a food processor)
  2. Combine butter, cocoa, sugar, coffee, brandy, and milk in a pot. Bring to a boil while stirring. Continue cooking until all the butter melts
  3. Remove from the heat and pour the mixture over the biscuit crumbs. Mix well (if too wet, add some crumbs)
  4. Shape the mixture into balls and refrigerate
  5. Mel the chocolate in the microwave. Dip the balls in chocolate, coat with sprinkles, and add two eyes
  6. Refrigerate until firm and store chilled.
