A savory Middle-Eastern pastry served at breakfast, brunch, or as a snack – easy to make with an irresistible crisp and rich flavor
Ingredients:
- Puff pastry
- A mix of hard cheeses – feta, cottage cheese – everything in the fridge
- Handful of chopped herbs – basil, oregano, green onion – or anything else you like
- 1 tbsp cornflour
- Chopped garlic clove
- Salt
- Black pepper
- Egg for brushing
- Sesame

Instructions:
- Heat oven to 400F
- Cut dough into squares
- Mix the cheeses with the corn flour
- Add the herbs, garlic and spices
- Put a tbsp of filling in the center of each square and fold it into a triangle
- Brush with egg
- Sprinkle with sesame seeds
- Bake until golden
